About Acropolis

Acropolis was founded in 2016 with just a humble pop up stand selling the fan-favourite chicken gyros at Newcastle’s iconic Quayside Market. Since then it has expanded across the North East and Scotland, taking part in many public and private events, now with six stores open and more to come. Serving Greek street food in a stylish new Metrocentre restaurant, Acropolis provides food inspired by recipes that have been passed down through the generations. With vegan and gluten free options also available, there is something to offer for everyone and provides authentic Greek flavours for the whole family!
