Eligibility
The competition is only open to legal residents of the UK aged 18 and over. The competition excludes employees, contractors, agents and service providers of Metrocentre, any member of the Savills group, or any retailers at Metrocentre, as well as any family members of such employees or contractors and anyone professionally associated with this competition.
The competition also excludes employees at Feeding Families, as well as anyone otherwise professionally connected with the administration of the prize draw.
Entry Method
- To enter, visit Metrocentre and find the Giant Birthday Cake. Scan the QR Code and participants can purchase prize draw entries via this Crowdfunder campaign. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.
- Free entry is also available through providing an email address. See the prize draw page for details of the free entry routes and how to enter. Further information on the free entry process is set out below.
Dates
- The prize draw opens on 14th May 2026, at 09:00 and closes on 30th June, at 21:00 Entries received outside this period will not be counted.
- A new prize draw will launch on 1st July, with a brand new QR code to enter from.
Prize Details
- The prize is 1 x £500 Metrocentre Gift Card and is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- There are a total of 5 prizes available between June to October 2026.
Winner Selection
- Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries using a random competition picker tool.
- The draw will take place on 01.06.26 and the winner(s) will be notified within 7 days of the draw taking place.
- Winners must claim their prize by responding to the email within 14 days of being notified. Failure to claim the prize in time will result in another winner being drawn.
- Winners will be announced publicly via the Crowdfunder project page within 14 days of the close date. Further details about publicity are below.

- Any personal data collected for the purpose of this prize draw will be used solely for administering the draw and contacting the winner(s).
- The data will be handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation and will not be shared with third parties without the entrant's consent.

Free Entry
- Free entry to the prize draw is available via the online form, and full details on how to enter for free are clearly displayed on the Crowdfunder project page.
- To enter for free, entrants must complete the form with their full name and email address during the promotion period.
- Only one free entry is permitted per person per monthly draw. Multiple submissions may be disqualified.
- Free entries will be given an equal chance of winning as paid entries.
Publicity
By entering, winners agree to allow the promoter and/or benefactor to use their name and image for publicity purposes, unless they request anonymity at the time of claiming the prize.
Disclaimers and Amendments
- The promoter reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw if circumstances beyond their control make this unavoidable. Any changes will be communicated on the Crowdfunder project page.
- Crowdfunder is not the promoter of this prize draw and is not liable for the content or operation of this prize draw.
