About Thatype & The Crescent
Thatype is opening its doors in The Crescent—Metrocentre's vibrant new home for independent brands and boutique retail. We specialize in unique jewellery that helps our customers express their individuality, style, and mood. We’re looking for an outgoing, trend-conscious Sales Assistant who loves talking to people and helping them discover pieces that match their personal aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Style Consultation: Chat with customers, understand their personality, and curate jewellery choices tailored to their personal look or occasion.
- Customer Engagement: Provide a warm, friendly, and approachable atmosphere in-store through natural conversation.
- Product Knowledge: Learn the ins and outs of our collections, metals, gemstones, and design details to inspire shoppers.
- Sales & Store Operations: Drive sales, handle point-of-sale transactions, and help maintain clean, inspiring visual displays.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Fashion Sense: A genuine passion for jewellery, current trends, and styling.
- Outgoing & Conversational: Confident initiating chats, active listening, and connecting with customers from all walks of life.
- Adaptable: Excited to be part of a boutique brand in Metrocentre's newest retail hub.
- Retail Experience: Prior sales or customer service experience is preferred, but passion and personality come first.
