We’re expanding our team and looking for brilliant new Prom Stylists to join Paris Dress House. Established in 2001, Paris Dress House has grown into one of the North East’s leading prom destinations. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional selection of dresses alongside a personal, memorable experience for every customer who walks through our doors. This isn’t ordinary retail. Our stylists work one-to-one with customers during one of the most exciting shopping experiences of their teenage years, helping them find the dress and making sure they leave feeling amazing.
THE ROLE
Our stylists are involved in all areas of our busy showroom, from delivering exceptional appointments to preparing and organising hundreds of beautiful prom dresses. Your role will include:
- Hosting one-to-one prom appointments
- Styling customers and recommending dresses to suit them
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
- Styling accessories and helping customers complete their overall look
- Steaming and preparing dresses to a high standard
- Receiving, checking and processing stock and deliveries
- Preparing and organising customer orders
- Maintaining accurate stock and customer records
- Keeping our showroom, rails, stock areas and displays beautifully organised
- Using our computer systems for customer, appointment and stock administration
- Learning our designers, collections, fits and fabrics
- Supporting the wider team with the day-to-day running of the store
ABOUT YOU
Applicants must: Be aged 18 or over
Have previous experience working in a customer-facing role
Be confident and comfortable communicating with customers
Have strong computer and digital skills
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
Be comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
Be available to work weekends and evenings, particularly throughout our busiest prom season Previous experience within fashion, occasionwear, retail or a sales environment is highly desirable.

You need to enjoy both sides of the role: creating an amazing customer experience and doing the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a busy store running beautifully.
MORE EXPERIENCED?
If you have 5+ years’ experience in customer-facing roles, or previous supervisory or management experience, we’d particularly love to hear from you. As Paris Dress House continues to grow, we also have opportunities available at a more senior level, with additional responsibility across areas such as team support, customer experience, sales, stock and day-to-day store operations.
