About Maki & Ramen

Maki & Ramen started back in 2015 with a simple mission – to share a love of fresh ramen and sushi with everyone. What began as a small spot in Edinburgh has since grown into one of the UK’s favourite Japanese dining brands, with restaurants now across Scotland and England. Every bowl of ramen we serve is made with care: our noodles are freshly prepared each day and our broths are slow-cooked for hours to bring out the best flavour. Alongside ramen, we also serve beautifully crafted sushi, making Maki & Ramen the perfect place for family dinners, casual catch-ups, or a treat with friends.

The new flagship site is the largest in the UK, bringing all the Maki & Ramen favourites you know and love, plus a welcoming space designed for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re a long-time ramen fan or just discovering Japanese food, we can’t wait to welcome you into our new home at Metrocentre.
