10am - 4pm, each day

Join cardboard artist Lottie Smith to craft your own red kite wings and headdress! Lottie will show you how to create your red kite costume before decorating. Throughout the day, you'll be able to take part in a parade alongside giant red kite puppet and a musician, get ready to flap those wings!

These sessions are to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of red kite birds returning to northern skies. The event is part of the Tyne Derwent Way programme, funded by HM Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

For all ages, everyone welcome.
