Safer Gateshead
Safer Gateshead will be located in Town Square, near o2, on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd November
Safer Gateshead is a partnership of various organisations working together with local communities to tackle persistent crime and disorder issues that are adversely affecting the quality of life of people within the borough.
Gateshead is one of the safest places to live, work and visit throughout the whole of Tyne and Wear, but we know we can always do more to tackle crime and disorder, and to keep our communities safe.
Every year, Safer Gateshead produces a Partnership Plan which outlines our key priorities. This is informed by intelligence and consultation with Gateshead residents. One of the priorities for Safer Gateshead is to reduce domestic abuse. This work is led by Gateshead Domestic Abuse Partnership and is a corporate priority for Gateshead Council.
