We’re looking for a Senior Sales & Design Consultant to join us at our stunning homeware concept store in the Metrocentre. At Rowen Homes, we help our customers bring their dream homes to life. As a Senior Sales & Design Consultant, you’ll be more than just a sales advisor. You’ll be a trusted design expert and brand ambassador. You’ll play a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the smooth running of the store.
What you’ll be doing
- Work full time (40 hours) on a permanent contract, flexibly across a rota including weekends and peak trading times
- Deliver a luxury, design led customer experience in store, online and over the phone
- Build long term client relationships, understanding their preferences, needs and budgets
- Provide expert advice and create tailored design solutions to help customers achieve their dream spaces
- Support customers throughout the order process, including payments, collections and post sale care
- Work towards and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets
- Maintain up to date product knowledge and recommend suitable alternatives where needed
- Take responsibility for maintaining the store’s presentation, stock levels and back of house organisation
- Support and guide the store team, sharing knowledge and helping raise service standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety procedures and FCA guidelines
- Provide clear and compliant information about finance products, carrying out affordability checks and supporting vulnerable customers where needed
What you’ll need
- Previous experience in a sales and design or premium retail role, ideally with leadership or mentoring responsibilities
- Strong commercial awareness and a proven track record of meeting sales targets
- A passion for interiors and the ability to inspire customers with creative solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Confidence to handle sensitive conversations, including finance and customer issues, with professionalism
- Flexibility to work weekends and peak periods as required
