Since 2022 we've welcomed over 35 new brands including flagship stores for the likes of Sports Direct, Everlast Gyms, Go Outdoors and many more. Over 40 of our existing brands have invested in their Metrocentre stores and refurbished or extended including ZARA, Primark, JD, FLANNELS, Victoria's Secret amongst others. COMING SOON TO METROCENTRE
Greggs will introduce a new larger unit in time for the busiest period of the year. The new opening will complement their existing shops in Red Mall and Blue Mall, in addition to being more than double the size of their current largest shop in Yellow Mall. The new shop opening will feature a modern design with capacity for 89 seats, providing a comfortable space for customers to enjoy Greggs’ freshly prepared favourites.
Get ready for a mouth-watering experience! Tomahawk Steakhouse will soon be opening its doors at Metrocentre in Upper Yellow Mall. Known for its premium steaks and delicious dining options, Tomahawk Steakhouse promises to bring an exceptional dining experience to the heart of Gateshead.

KIKO Milano’s largest store in the North East is now open in Lower Red Mall. The store will feature an extensive range of makeup, skincare, suncare, and haircare products, along with personalised beauty consultation services.

The Community Diagnostic Centre in the Metrocentre offers patients different checks, scans and tests outside the main hospital. They provide quick appointments at convenient times, including evenings and weekends. Please be advised the NHS Diagnostics Centre is a referral only service.

Don't forget to check out some of our existing retailers who have had a glow up in 2024. EE has unveiled a new concept store in lower Platinum Mall, while Yankee Candle has moved to upper Platinum Mall. Jack Jones has relocated to upper Red Mall, and both Clarks and Victoria’s Secret have shifted to lower Green Mall.
