Come and rock out with Foster with North East — and see how you could be someone's rock
Helps us celebrate Foster Care Fortnight, come and meet Foster with North East and Smooth Radio at the Metrocentre on Saturday 23 May, 10am-4pm . You can have a go at the Rock Hero Challenge and see if you can make it onto the leader board, meet local council fostering teams, and chat with foster carers about what fostering is really like and how it could work for you. You can also cheer us on as we walk 70,000 steps during the day, representing the number of children currently in care.
When you foster with your local council, you can be there for a child when they need it most. You can be someone's rock. You be their care and support, and we'll be yours.
If you've ever thought about fostering but weren't sure how it would fit for you, Foster with North East is here to answer your questions. You can foster if you're single, if you have children or don't, if you rent or own your home and even if you work.
Foster with North East is a partnership of all 12 local councils in your region , offering support for your fostering journey and helping you explore what fostering could look like for you.
